Sedona

Sedona holds special importance as Hennigan’s first painting. He used a palette knife to apply the paint to cover the gallery-wrapped canvas.

Sedona exhibits earth tones similar to the mustard color brittlebush wildflowers and burnt sienna and umber reds in the dry landscape of Arizona and the desert town of its name. The bright white appears like sunlight and the deep blue accents cool the palette while adding contrast.
